The smallest 6-DOF mobile robot in the world, myAGV is coming!! After the upgrading, myAGV can combine with myCobot, myPalletizer, and mechArm. myagv

Launched today, myAGV claims to be the world’s smallest compound robot capable of six degrees of freedom. It carries a built-in camera and 360-degree LIDAR to enable autonomous navigation, and it uses a Raspberry Pi 4 as its brains.

Elephant Robotics’ MyCobot robotic arm was introduced last year with M5Stack Atom & Basic ESP32 modules with 6-degrees of freedom, a 250 grams max payload, available now for $599. The company has launched a new $699  version – MyCobot-Pi – with most of the same features, except for an upgrade to Raspberry Pi 4B which offers more performance and flexibility.

Elephant Robotics’ $699, 850-gram “MyCobot Pi” is a six-axis manipulation bot that runs Debian and ROS on a RPi 4B. The bot has a 250 g payload, 280mm range, and a LEGO connector for attachments including a suction pump and gripper.

今回発売するmyCobot 280は、同社主力製品と同様である6軸の可動域を持つ。ROS(Robot Operating System)にも対応し、小型/軽量化した学習用ロボットとして開発したモデルだ。制御用マイコンにはM5Stackシリーズを採用している。

The word “robotic arm” normally conjures up images of huge devices used in auto plants or on space shuttles. While there are many types of robotic arms used in a myriad of industries, there has never been one as small and portable as the 850g myCobot – the world’s smallest collaborative robotic arm. And now, the robot has launched a new version…
